Newport Restaurant has been a staple of the Maspeth community since the early 1970's. Bearing the name of the former owners favorite vacation spot Newport, Rhode Island. Purchased four years ago by the Kolombos family, the restaurant was kept as is and operated under the same name. In September 2009 Newport Restaurant closed it's doors for the final time. Fast forward to June 2nd, 2010, first day of business for GooD EatS DineR. The establishment has undergone a complete transformation from loley coffee shop to bonafide diner. Words nor pictures can describe the sublte yet strikingly brilliant design of this establishment.
